The default schedule for ESM surveys was set up to deliver surveys between 10:00 and 22:00. However, participants were allowed to customize their start- and stop- times based on their waking hours. Therefore, this data set includes surveys delivered between 05:30 and 24:00.

Community members. Participants were aged between 18 and 69 (M = 27.02, SD = 8.98) and the sample comprised 65% women
Recruitment information:
Recruited through advertisements distributed across traditional (e.g., printed flyers) and digital (e.g., social media and classifieds websites) media platforms. To be eligible, participants had to (a) be aged 18 years, (b) own a compatible iOS or Android smartphone for the ESM app, (c) be fluent in English, (d) have access to a computer running a recent version of Windows or Mac OS, and (e) not be currently taking heart or blood pressure medication.
Incentives:
AU$150, partially contingent on ESM compliance.

19/01/24 KG: Fixed replicated ID issue for participants who had only done baseline (8 participants in the dataset had only done the baseline surveys (no ESM) and therefore had not been assigned an PPID. This "NA" PPID value was used to generate UUID resulting in those 8 participants having the same UUID. 

 

28/06/24 KG: There were 8 additional participants that shouldn't have been included (these have been deleted now). 7 of these had withdrawn from the study.  One participant was accidentally assigned two different UUID (one based on their ESM and one on their Baseline).
